Group Elemental Transformational
IN-STUDIO
What to expect in a Group Elemental Transformational BreathWork session In-Studio
The intensity of this experience is unmatched, as you surrender yourself to the rhythmic dance of your breath. Utilizing the elemental breathwork patterns which include earth, water, air and fire, each inhalation and exhalation, allows layers of self-doubt to melt away. The central nervous system is reset, creating space for new possibilities to emerge. As you come face to face with areas of victimhood in your life, you are free to step into manifestation, channeling and then simply being. Each stage will allow your spiritual journey to continue to unfold. You find yourself feeling lighter, cleaner, and more aligned with your true self. It's as if a weight has been lifted off your shoulders and you are free to soar higher than ever before in connection with both yourself and something greater than yourself.
It is considered a “ceremony” and what we like to refer to as “active meditation” therefore the studio space is cleansed and considered a sacred space. You will be asked to remove your shoes upon arrival and a quick ‘sage’ on your person will be conducted prior to you entering the studio.
Eye masks, blankets, pillows and meditation chair will be provided by Dragonfly Breathwork.
You may also consider bringing a sweater, wrap or extra blanket and/or water into the space, however, we prefer no mobile device
Preparation for the session
Watch the videos here
Eat as clean as possible at least 48 hours prior to the session. Try to avoid alcohol and recreational drugs as well.
Eat something light about 1.5 hours prior to the session. This type of work is considered active meditation and we want your body focused on the breathwork and not digesting a lot of food.
Identify a space where you have privacy for about 1.5 hours. Let those you live with know what you are doing and that you would like privacy during this time or have them join you!
If you wish to embrace the spiritual aspect of this practice, cleanse the space prior to the session launch. Feel free to watch the video on “Creating a Sacred Space” for tips on how to do this.
Lay out a yoga mat, yoga blanket, bolster, pillows. Any accoutrements you need to be comfortable on your back for about 1.5 hours ( you can do this on your bed or a yoga mat).
Dress comfortably in yoga clothes, athleisure wear or even your pj’s. Dress in layers and have a wrap or additional blanket handy as temperature may fluctuate.
Have an eye mask ready — this will assist in keeping your eyes closed which will allow you to turn the lease inward and assist in reducing any external distractions.
Check to ensure your equipment is fully charged or plugged in, Ear buds, headphones, laptop, phone — whatever technology you will be using to stream the session.
Set your intention for the session — simply ask yourself “why am I doing this?” And jot down the answer.

Have a journal close by to make note of your session experience. If you have a journaling or meditation practice currently, this will most likely enhance it, if not, this is a great time to start!
Please allow two hours for the entire session although we may finish earlier.
Be prepared to take good care of yourself for at least 48 hours after the session. Eating clean, journaling, meditation, drinking lots of water and avoiding loud environments will assist in integration and allow for any additional emotions to be released if needed.
